Dear Voter:
I want to bring straight talk and common sense back into reality in state government. Our elected officials have lost touch with their constituents -- us. Could either you or I spend our employer's money and resources into bankruptcy and still have our jobs?
A business is in business to make money - to incur a profit, operating in the black. How long has it been since Kentucky has operated in the black? How many years have the same legislators spent our tax dollars and raised our taxes, and adding additional taxes to cover their salary increases, pension plans, healthcare and anything else they wanted our money to cover? We have to live within a budget and so should our elected officials.
The legislators need to review the laws already on the books. Repeal the bad ones, enforce the good ones and start being open and honest with the people they were elected to serve. They work for us. They need to respect our individual rights.
I will listen and act on what the majority of my constituents ask of me. I truly believe in our individual rights as set forth in the constitution. I disagree with the Federal Government dictating to the states how to spend Federal tax money.
I will work hard for you and will be available to you at all times. I truly want to be your senator - your voice in Frankfort. Thank you for your support and vote on August 25th.
Sincerely your humble servant,
